Go with Rick and Morty in VR

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is a paid virtual reality (VR) experience from adult swim games. This game lets you go on an adventure with the titular sci-fi duo, Rick and Morty, as they supposedly crash right into your living room. After dealing with a surprise twist—something perfectly in character for the hit TV show—you go with them into an interactive world.

From toys, weapons, and other characters, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is as interactive as its gets. You might also want to also check out Supermedium - Virtual Reality Browser or Job Simulator for additional immersive VR experiences.

Explore alien worlds

Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is based on the adult animated sci-fi sitcom originally made for Adult Swim, the nighttime programming block of Cartoon Network. It follows the eponymous characters as they go on misadventures across different universes, addressing domestic life issues as well as completing interdimensional quests. Aside from Rick and Morty, they have a cast of characters, guests, and recurring ones who help them on the way.

As for the game, it features 3D renditions of the beloved 2D characters, making it look cartoonish yet still immersive. It even features accurate voiceovers, similar to those you hear from the TV show, especially Rick Sanchez who will be yelling commands at you every now and then. Lastly, the game is so interactive that it becomes an effort to find the things you should be doing.

Still, as a VR-only game, it requires a supported VR headset like HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. Furthermore, it recommends a play area of at least 2 meters by 1.5 meters. At this stage, it still has a lot of potential to explore as a VR experience, especially since the fans will be definitely looking at more characters and locations—and the game starts out pretty limited on this aspect.

A good teaser

As a game, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is a great experience for fans of the show or even fans of the genre in general. The immersion it offers perfectly coincides with the unpredictability that the show has become known for. You can do what Rick tells you to or just play around. This experience leaves players wanting more from this game. Recommended.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
